Town Assessor Plan For 2025 PRoperty revaluation

At Sunday’s Annual Meeting, Greenwich Assessor Lauren Elliott presented the process, required by CT law, for revaluation of residential and commercial real estate in town. Notices with the preliminary values will be mailed November 7. Assessor Elliott said the town’s mill rate will definitely be adjusted downward, due to rising real estate prices and assessment values. Appeals may be made to the Board of Assessment Appeals by February 20, and informal hearings can be scheduled immediately with Assessor’s Office at 203-622-7885.
